DIY Hot Tent Camping in Snow | 2 Nights Winter Camping in Nordhouse Dunes in a Tarp Tipi

 Join me on a hot tent winter camping adventure!

In January 2022 I headed to Nordhouse Dunes to do some hot tenting in a D.I.Y. teepee. It got down to about 10 degrees, but the small wood burning stove kept the place pretty toasty. I also hiked over to Lake Michigan and checked out some ice formations. Throughout the adventure I prepared some tasty meals and hot tea. The trip was a success and I'm looking forward to next time!
