8 Days Alone in the Rugged Canadian Wild

Yessss... my neck of the woods. I swear this area (Temagami, Ontario) is one of the planet's hidden treasures when it comes to wilderness at its finest. The gf and I went camping on Red Squirrel lake a few weeks ago and it was simply amazing. With gas prices so high lately we were literally the only humans out there, except for the 2 friendly conservation officers who popped by our makeshift campsite to say hello on our last evening there. I live in Temiskaming Shores but I frequent the backwoods/old growth forests of Temagami most summer long. I'm an avid hiker and forager of wild herbs, berries & medicinal mushrooms.
